After the lecture from Professor Denis I was shocked to know what happened. I thought the most interesting and disturbing thing was how they hung the bodies on Christmas eve. It was extremely sad to hear how they got treated and what went on. I couldn't even imagine having going through that. After hearing the lecture is it alot easier to try to get into and understand what they are going through in "Night".

I agree with you that it was extremely interesting and disturbing that the bodies were hung as ornaments for Christmas Eve.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I disagree with the statement, "I could even imagine having going through that." I don't think that even after this lecture and reading the book Night I could ever be able to imagine the true horrors on a day to day basis that these people felt.

I agree with you Tia, no matter how much I can possibly learn or read about the holocaust and the Jews experiences, I don't think I could ever imagine going through anything like that. I just don't even want to think about going through anything like that honestly.
